Storm Coming
Who: Mere and Natalia
Where: The Whiskey a GoGo
When: Friday, Dec. 12
Mere enjoyed coming to the Whiskey. She usually stuck to the more vamp and demon friendly places now, for obvious reasons, but sometimes, being out with the normals was fun, too. Plus, between her new hottness and extra vampire charisma or whatever, she totally got free drinks from every guy in the bar. She was sitting at the bar at the moment, sipping one of those many free drinks. Another vampire plus, she could drink most of the hot guys under the table.
"What the hell is that?" a male voice was heard saying. "No clue, but she's still pretty hot. In a freaky kinda way." Another said. As they spoke, it was clear who they meant: in the middle of the dance floor, was the pale, slinky, curvy form of the vampiress known as Natalia. The bar was playing 80's hair metal, and she was loving it. The DJ was playing "Rhythm of Love" by The Scorpions, and she was just swaying to it like nobody else in the world existed.
Mere just had to turn around and see who they were talking about. "Ah, my favorite crazy lady," she muttered, smiling a little. Finishing off her drink, she slid off her barstool and made her way to Natalia.
Natalia grinned sweetly as she saw Meredith approaching her. The slightly nutty vamp was wearing a dress that could only be described as a torn up wedding dress and a black funeral gown, fused together. And she wore two different fishnet stockings, with clunky combat boots. "Theeeeeeere's my friend..."
Mere swayed along in time with Natalia now, knowing the vamp danced to music only in her head most of the time. "Yep, here I am. Haven't seen you around lately. Been busy?"
"Busy, busy, busy... I've been QUITE the little worker... badness is coming, you know..." she purred to the brunette, "and someone's got to make sure the sides are eeeeeeeeeeeeven..."
"Badness, eh?" She wanted to get info to pass on to the Slayer crew, if for no other reason than to keep them from getting a little too stake happy with her. "What sort of badness?"
"Our not-so-nice brethren are NONE too happy about allllll the Slayers suddenly coming around." She gave a nibble of her lip that would be adorable if not so heartfelt. "They're coming to burn this city to the ground."
"Really?" Not too shocking to hear about, actually. "What do you think about that? Wanting to burn the city to the ground with them?" Mere herself would leave town before she joined in on the whole burning thing. Fire frightened her, and she kind of liked most of those Slayer girls.
Of course, Natalia, who frequently spoke in an almost crazy/poetic way, meant burning in a metaphorical way, but hey. "Even if it turns me to ashes... I'm going to help the girls."
Mere wasn't much for poetry outside of songs, so she tended to take things literally. "Really? How many these vampires got on their side, anyway? Do you know?"
"It's verrrrrry frightening, really..." Natalia's big eyes conveyed true fear, but determination at the same time. "Last I've heard, close to one hundred fifty."
Mere couldn't suppress a shudder at that. "Look, if you really want to help those girls, I know where to find a couple of them. I'm sure they'd love to hear about some of this stuff."
"I don't think they'll like me." She looked back and forth, cutely whispering to Meredith. "They usually kill vampires, you know."
"I managed to convince them to not kill me," Mere told her. "Took a bit of convincing for one of them, but I actually know a few of them, like...personally. Besides, they'll need all of the help they can get if things really hit the fan, you know?"
The souled vampire looked to and fro, then finally nodded. "Alright... take me to one of them? Maybe we can speak on nice terms..."
"Sure. I can take you to one of them." The real question was, which one?
