"No. I'm not. You and your kind... you're done turning me into something I'm not." He turned, walking to the edge of the cliff. He knew what he had to do now... he just hoped he had the strength to live through it. As Ash stared off... deep in thought, the almost frighteningly calm form of Rupert Giles walked over, crouching down beside Lindsey. "Not everyone can be fully corrupted, Lindsey. Ash might not be perfect... but deep inside, he's a good man." Giles started helpign Lindsey up, as he was obviously too weak to do so on his own power. "Luckily for us... I have no such self-delusions." And with those words, Giles gripped Lindsey's head and quickly twisted it to the side, hearing the sick crack, as he let the man's body tumble off the back of the cliff.
Stretching his arms out wide, Ash winced in pain as he released all of the dark energy he'd stored up inside himself, including all the power he'd stolen from Delilah... and sent huge, destructive waves of lightning down into the arena, letting it flow through every single demon, vampire, and being fighting on the side of Wolfram & Hart. As each one of them was fried, and fell to the ground, lifeless.... Ash felt the last of the energy in his body ebb out... and he fell to the ground, barely breathing.
As he hit the ground... a new form appeared in the middle of the battlefield. A cloaked, heavily deformed demon, green eyes blazing brightly. This was the overseer of Salacia, the only being who could declare a winner.
Looking around, at the carnage, the demon nodded silently, then finally began to speak.
"The Slayers... shall now have thirty minutes to gather your survivors and collect your dead. You will then be deposited back to where you first entered the portal."
His eyes then fell on Meredith, and he got almost a sick grin.
"And you... you have fulfilled your end of quite the prophecy. Your reward... shall become apparent when you reach home."
"Remember... thirty minutes. Do try to make sure... nobody is left behind."
