The voice in the back of his mind telling him what a bad idea this was was gone now. Now nothing was in his mind but how right it felt to have her in his arms again. Years of hitting on anything that moved was just a way to replace her. A trait that unfortunately his daughter had picked up. If he could have turned back the clock...well, he hoped that he would have been different, but probably not. He had been lonely.
He smiled at her a little as her hand explored his neck and face. He wanted to stay in this moment forever. He couldn't even put into words how much he had missed her.
