"That so? Exactly what does it explain?" Always hated those words, 'military brat' like I was spoiled or some shit. Pretty much the opposite, having a Dad who was a pilot and expected everything to run perfect, including me was a pain in the ass. Almost gave him a heart attack when I signed up to be in the Navy.
"Well, its better then doing something you hate." Refilled our glasses back up even though they were barely at the half way mark. Nothing worse then running dry. My brilliant plan backfired on me when she tossed the blanket over her legs. Damn it.
"Wasn't talking about the paranoia being a shame." Hid a smile, letting her guess what I meant. Doubted she would, since she seemed pretty naive. "Don't really feel tired at night anymore." Ever since I'd been bitten I was more active at night and tended to take a nap during the day. "Let me know when you start getting bored, I'll let you sleep."
