Anne didn't know what he was thinking and wouldn't have known what the fleet would have done having seen their fearless Commander pacing as Lee was, but Anne was a bit wide-eyed at it. At least, in her case, she knew what had brought it on: his daughter's elopement.
Still, it was nice to see him smiling now and even cracking a joke, if that's what that was. She sincerely hoped it was, but just to be sure (and to both ease her conscience and his mind), she shook her head quickly and said, "No, I'm not doing that. We're not doing that. Nick's staying on the flight deck and I'm-" She grinned, too. "I'm going to get my wings, be the best Raptor pilot Galactica's ever seen right along with Hera and Joe can..."
She motioned at him with one hand, cheeky grin still firmly in place. "Follow in your footsteps."
