Laurel is in a good mood these days. Spring is a large part of it. And she's... cautiously hopeful, with Jim. She's still not entirely sure giving things another chance was a smart decision, but she'd like to think so. It at least deserves the benefit of the doubt.
The dreams are still bad, more often than not, but she's getting sleep enough to get by. At least business will pick up soon, and it's warm enough to open the front of the shop to the air.
She smiles as Cecilia walks down the street, and offers a small wave. She doesn't know her, but she knows she's been around awhile, and that she works at the library. For today, that's enough to merit a smile.
