Laurel, which she looks nice, isn't nearly so put together; she tends to look professional, but favors slacks, flats, and button-downs at work, her hair back out of her face. When he shows up, she's just finishing with a customer, one of the ones that slips in right before closing.
She smiles, thanks the lady for her business, and sends her on her way with a small bouquet of Gerber daises. Laurel sees Jim as the customer leaves and waves him in.
