Lynn realizes she's probably been at the bar for far too long, but she doesn't feel like leaving yet. She has nothing to do and nowhere to be until the next morning. Yet she's restless; chatting with one stranger has given her the yen for more, it seems. Her eyes rove around the room and land on a man who seems to be a veteran. Her eyebrows raise at the missing left hand, and her doctor's curiosity raises with them. She moves toward him and sits down, putting one stool between them, and orders another cheap beer. "Hello there, stranger. Are you new in town?" She'll work up to asking about the hand.
