"It is," Nathan agreed, tugging Jim to sit with his back facing him so he could massage his shoulders in earnest. His right hand was still weak, but he managed by going slow, concentrating on getting a knot relaxed completely before moving on. "But... I don't know, if you look at it as he is you, he's you before, and you can see how much you've changed and grown since then, maybe that will help. It's just a part of your past, like your childhood. He can't take over because he's done with. It's only you now, only your choices and your decisions."
Making a soft huffing sound, Nathan leaned forward to kiss the back of Jim's neck. "What happened? You sound like this is a recent problem."
