Quick eyes took in the scars, the missing hand, because no one wouldn't notice. But Lexi just smiled at him, sunny and embarrassed, color tinging her cheeks as she shook her head and laughed again. "I think I'll survive." She patted herself down, teasing. "Didn't break at all."
Studying him again, Lexi pushed a wayward strand of hair out of her face. "I'm Lexi. The charging bull, apparently. I really am sorry, I got caught up in the leaves..." Trailing off, she wrinkled her nose. "I promise, I don't normally assault handsome men on the street. I'm usually much more subtle."
