Cecilia finds the letter in her box after work. She reads it over, her face set hard, standing on her porch. Then she goes inside to unpin her hair, change her clothes.
She considers calling Larry, but decides against it. She isn't afraid of Nathan, of The Lady. She wants him to know she's not to be trifled with. The strange ebb and flow of Cecilia and Morgause has been unpredictable, but just now -- addressed in something approaching proper protocol, and facing the challenge of someone who might yet be an enemy -- Morgause makes herself known. Besides, she can always call Larry if she needs someone to be punched in the face.
She tucks the letter in her pocket, and walks to Nathan's shop, hesitating only a little at the door before she goes in, wearing Morgause's expression of cold confidence.
