10:30 ᴀᴍ — 1sᴛ sʜᴏᴏᴛ: ᴜɴɪᴄᴏʀɴ ʜᴀʙ — ʀᴏʀʏ + ᴏᴘᴇɴ The Unicorn Habitat was one that Rory tended to look in on pretty often, if only because the creatures were absolutely stunning. She loved watching them. They were free and majestic and left Rory feeling like there was some beauty in the world that could so easily override all of the bad. They were a bright light in this otherwise dreary world of angst and anxiety and drama.
The Quodpot players were honestly just extra scenery. They didn't hold a candle to the unicorns, though. And, honestly, they weren't even the whole reason she was standing here. After all, early this morning when she was checking on a pregnant Salamander, she'd been literally snapped at — that one was new — and called over by the guy that was taking the pictures for this whole thing.
He'd needed a female for an establishing shot and she'd just happened to end up in his line of sight. She didn't know what she was getting into by going ahead and doing it, but after that, he'd seemed to think he was her boss. Just to keep things running smoothly, she did some of the things he asked, provided that it didn't interfere with her regular duties.
Honestly, she wasn't sure what she was getting herself into. But it certainly was interesting...
