After two continuances, the prosecution was required to produce Proudfoot to testify in person, giving the defense an opportunity for cross-examination.
Proudfoot has been one of the the prosecution's main witnesses and sources of information. He previously worked for
the esteemed Rapalje Library in New York City. Currently, he works for Brightstar Reserve, located in Northwest Territory, as a security analyst. He has several family members working at the organization.
According to signed statements, his research in the Library's archives allowed Economides to break into Magical Natural Resources Congressional Committee
offices and allegedly set off the incendiary device.
Proudfoot arrived at prosecutors' officers on Sunday afternoon. Documents released to the public revealed that Proudfoot received a suspended sentence in exchange for his testimony, but the exact terms of his plea deal have not been released.
