"It is," she confirmed, whether he was talking to her or not. Her mother's family had been Veela's for as far back as she knew. Full blooded, no intermingling... until her parents. So when he seemed to be trying to figure out just how far back this "break" went, Rory couldn't help but smile in her own amusement and clear her throat a tiny bit. Not to interrupt him, but to speak. "Actually, ya see," she started, giving a little shrug at the same time, "tha break is quite a bit more recent than that. My daddy... he was a wizard. But my mama, she's as full-blooded Veela as they come."
So yes, she knew she'd be much stronger if she was full Veela, and the observation didn't bother her any. To be honest, even at 22 she was still learning everything she could do that she had in common with a full Veela. She knew she didn't turn into a harpy when she got angry. That had been tested already. But her eyes did glow an eery red. And she knew she could charm people by dancing and she had a lot of the traits - including wandless magic. But she also knew that she was just scratching the surface.
Still, he didn't seem as interested in that as he was in getting the hell outta dodge, so Rory just nodded once at his parting words. "No favor to return, Doctor Brightstar. Gotta help out where we can, right? Have a good one."
