Dr. Kent Brightstar is Everyone's Problematic Fave (blazingstar) wrote in brightstar,
Although he took the scrubs, Kent didn't immediately go and change. He was too busy working over some very complex feelings. With her influence gone, clarity was once again the word of the day, and he managed to sweep his gaze over what was obviously a very neat and structured office. Admirable. But how was he really feeling at the moment?
As annoying and embarrassing as it had been to realize he'd been under her thrall--such as it was--he couldn't really fault her for this natural extension of herself, now that he was free of it. It was time to start brushing up on his Occlumency again. It probably wouldn't amount to much, but maybe it might help to lessen the effects. "Fuck people, especially the intolerant ones."
He headed into the bathroom to change, but only pulled the door partly closed to change. "That makes me a hypocrite, for the record. I think you'll find me pretty damned biased when it comes to humans, only a handful excepted. Also--" his voice went muffled as he carefully peeled the freezing wet scrub top over his head-- "it's Doctor, not Healer, please." He poked his head out to shoot her an amused smirk. "That's what it says on the certificates in my office, at least."
