[8:45 pm] Had a bad morning. Admitted at LHI to have tests run. [8:45 pm] I'm okay. Baby is okay. But they don't know what's going on yet.
📅 TIMELINE
4/17/19 (Wednesday)
Nat admitted to LHI around 10:30 am. By noon they've determined that her body is reacting badly to the increased salt regimen her healer recommended to help with the other issues she had. It's an extreme reaction given human norms for sodium levels, so they aren't sure why. They give her potions to flush it out, which helps with the chest pain, but brings back her fainting issues. They seem the lesser of two evils so long as she's in bed.
4/18/19 (Thursday)
No real updates from the healer today.
4/19/19 (Friday)
Healer does diagnostics and takes samples from Tony as a baseline, because he suspects the cross-breed status of the baby is fouling up Nat's test results. Oddly, they hear nothing until late in the day when the healer informs them that Tony's readings are coming up very similarly to Nat's, and it's weird. They've tested everything multiple times. They still don't know what it means.
4/20/19 (Saturday)
Healer calls in consultants from overseas. They run more tests with Nat and Tony. Nat asks Njall to participate, too, to hopefully narrow down the things that are specifically Selkie related.
