Making friends was the most important thing in feel like a person belonged. It was like a family of those that you had chosen rather than those that God had assigned to you. Andi and Geoff were the only family that really mattered to her in the end of it all. Her parents and grandparents had lost all their importance for lying to her and making her doubt herself.
She had been dealing with it a little bit every day, coming to the realization that she could be okay without their approval. Her sister had helped her find someone to talk to. The therapist would keep it all confidential and help her sort through the decades of self-doubt and negative self-talk. It would take time though, she had to be patient with herself.
She had spent the morning in Billings dealing with some decorating things and had happened to find Tangled in the movie section of a store she'd been wandering. She had immediately texted her sister and her sister's roommates about a movie day. They had talked a little about it before, but she needed happy comfy movie day.
When they had confirmed that they were interested, Gigi had ordered a ton of Chinese Food for the group, not entirely sure what they were interested in, well other than Ford's order. She had slipped home really quick to pick up Bailey before she headed for Bettina's place. She hummed, magically keeping the food warm.
