goldsteinquill replied: There is a reason why religion, in some form or another, has existed for thousands of years. To outright dismiss the impact religion has on society (for good, which I hope outweighs the ill) is quite foolish. I would never consider proselytizing another and can only ask for the same respect when our beliefs differ. For me, personally, I have found strength in the religion of my ancestors, allowing me reach correct answers for my own particular situation when wrestling with difficult moral and ethical questions. But, for the sake of a good healthy debate, pray tell how people could 'do and be so much more' without religion.
