Despite it being several days since sitting in Ford's room in Medical and agreeing to share some stem cells with a dying man, Thorne was still walking around in a bit of a haze. It was a good thing that he was still off work as he wouldn't have gotten anything done. Ford was dying, but not if Thorne had anything to say about it. He was sharing his bone marrow, after all.
He was out taking a walk because physical activity was apparently something he should be doing regularly. Hence why he was out and about when he came across a small dog, trotting down the road, leash trailing behind him. Thorne reached down and grabbed the leash before the small beast could wander into the road proper just when a car might happen past. "Who do you belong to?" He stared down at the yellow furry thing and it did nothing to answer his question.
Well, that was useful.
Since he didn't see anyone on his way to this point frantically looking for a puppy the logical thing was to continue forward. It didn't take long to come across a blond laying right down in the middle of the path where anyone could step on her. "Excuse me. I think I have something that belongs to you."
