WHO Stevie Wyrzykowski & Jake Grayson WHERE: Delilah's Diner WHEN: Around 10 AM, Monday August 12th WHAT: Jake & Stevie meet about the whole potential roommate situation. WARNINGS: Nothing that I can think of just yet?
It was easy for Stevie to meet Jake at the diner - she was already there. Set up with her laptop, a pair of glasses sitting on her nose (for aesthetic, honestly, she didn't need them), and a cup of coffee already steaming next to her, Stevie was ready for 'work.' Having your own business meant that you could work pretty much anywhere if your business didn't entirely require an office, and since she had not converted any space in her home yet into a business office nor had she found a suitable building in Snowcap, the diner was it. There were plans, architectural designs, and fabric swatches laid out carefully on the table beside her and she picked through this and that, while simultaneously checking Wizgram and various other forms of social media and wizard news.
Finding a new roommate was exciting and all, but Stevie kept her excitement and anticipation down to a minimum. She was... rather particular with the sort of people she could live with, and she absolutely stressed cleanliness. Someone who was going to come in and trash the carefully organized bookshelves, kitchen, and various shared living areas would be an absolute dealbreaker. She had no idea who this Jake guy was, and the probability that he was messy (at least to Stevie's standards) was high. Still, she'd reserve judgment until they spoke.
Checking Wizgram again, she browsed through Jake's profile to get a better sense of him, not that she gained much information from what he posted. Mostly, it was so she would recognize him when he walked in. As he did, Stevie lifted a hand and waved enthusiastically at him. Dressed in jeans and a grey long-sleeved sweater, Stevie's jacket was folded neatly beside her, and she carefully tugged on the bow in her hair to make sure it was straight. As he sat down, Stevie smiled brightly. "Hi there. I'm Stevie Wyrzykowski. You must be Jake."
