"No more magic for you for awhile, okay?" Andi patted his knee and then sat back in the couch and watched the furniture as she tried to think. His magic worked. Hers had not. Why was it different? She was more concerned about Ford that her brain just wasn't finding the answers.
"No, Loki would be extremely upset if either of us were to get pissed off at each other," she chuckled. "So I'd much rather we stay on good terms," she smiled. "And look, he's worried about you. He knows." Strange how animals of all kinds could pick up on when their owners didn't feel well and would do what they could to help them feel better.
She thought about the Kestrel and tilted her head slightly to the side. "It sounds similar, even if it was just beer floating around," she nodded again. "Magic makes the weird stuff worse..." she said thoughtfully. "Mine definitely did, but yours didn't," she said, looking at him once again. "Why?" What was different that she couldn't get her brain to figure out. "And I promise, no more magic from me until this stops. In fact, until this stop maybe you should come stay with me? Or...somewhere?" She couldn't believe she'd just straight up offered him to stay with her, but...why not?
