Who: Ford Harper and Andi Kingsland AND LOKI What: Ford's house has issues, but at least he gets to see Loki When: Thursday, August 1, 2019 Where: Ford's rental house Warnings: A little blood, possibly mentions of illness
Ford was pretty sure this was the sort of thing that was supposed to happen to people with older siblings who liked to play pranks and not to single, almost-only children only temporarily in town. He poked at the couch, which was currently just far enough above the floorboards that you couldn't really see it, but that it had slipped sideways into the end table as soon as he tossed his laptop onto it. He was already tired from having to de-levitate pretty much the whole house that morning and again when he'd gotten home, and he really didn't want to push it.
Besides, he needed evidence, so that was as good an excuse as any to simply gingerly sink onto the couch and let the movement calm down as he settled into a comfortable position. The front door was open, letting the pleasant mountain air in, ready for Andi and Loki's arrival. Ford toyed with a few graphics he planned to use for an upcoming blog post, but otherwise he wasn't worried about being terribly productive; no reason to start something he'd have to stop as soon as his guests arrived. Music, though, he could do, and he tossed on a random mix of new independent artists that a fellow podcaster had recommended, lightly tapping his foot to the beat as he worked.
