Rory raised an eyebrow, smirking just the tiniest bit. She'd be lying if she said she didn't feel at least a little bit better about herself, but it wasn't malicious. Just a bit of a self-esteem boost that she could do this without squirming and Andi couldn't.
Watching Andi actually take the fish, she couldn't help feeling a bit proud, too. Even though she hadn't wanted to, Andi had reached out and taken the fist in her hands. Though Rory had to admit, she did chuckle some at her reaction to it.
"Breathe, woman," Rory chided. "If ya keep yer calm you won't have such a hard time picking the thing back up." To prove her point, Rory moved to scoop the fish up, holding it back out to Andi. "Now, it's your fish, you handle the end result. Put it back in the water."
It was the same lesson her daddy taught her in the very beginning. You took care of your own fish. It translated for the blonde later on in life that 'you took care of your shit'.
