The appearance of a small animal in pup form trying to take one of the three fish in her cooler had the blonde smirking and raising an eyebrow as she stared down at it. It looked familiar and it only took Rory a couple of minutes before she placed why. This was the puppy that was in Ford's Instagram not too long after the awkward movie watching.
Bending down, she reached out to scratch the pup behind his ears and sighed. "Hello, pup. Did ya bring yer ownah with ya?" Rory wouldn't mind it. Sure, the last time they'd been in the same place it had been a little weird, but before that, she'd had a lot of fun with him. And yeah, sure, ending up with a crush on the man you loved's twin brother wasn't necessarily the best thing ever, but Rory would deal with it the best way she could.
And never tell him.
It turned out that the puppy had brought his owner, just not the one that Rory was expecting. No. This one came in the form of Andi Kingsland, the mom of the puppy parents.
Straightening up, Rory dusted off her jeans and tightened her ponytail before turning to actually meet the other woman appropriately.
Apparently, Loki decided he didn't want the fish and went sniffing at something else. Andi was quick. "It's alright. He was just bein' curious. Got a whiff of tha fish an' decided ta try ta play cat burglar," she chuckled, setting her reel against the tree she was standing near.
"I don't thank we've properly met yet. Ah'm Rory Brynn. Ah'm a healah at tha Reserve." She held out her hand in greeting, offering the woman a smile. "Yer Andi, right? Andi Kingsland?" Rory liked to know who she was working with, but she still didn't know everyone. It could be frustrating in the wrong situations.
