"I think I figured it out by the time I was ten," Andi said gently. "I...saw some things and then heard some things and I put two and two together," she added. "I was always...meddlesome. Always getting into things I shouldn't, figuring things out. I figured it out and then kept it to myself," Andi told her. "I didn't tell you because...don't hate me for not telling you, Gi! Please don't." She had never kept the information to herself to be malicious. It just wasn't something you yelled at at family dinners.
"Oh god. That had to suck for everyone. Why did dad even give his blood. He and mom knew he wasn't the father," she frowned. Maybe they thought there was a flying chance that the blood type would be the same, but geez... "If Geoffrey knows, I don't know," she said. "I never told him. I told no one. It's a secret that I've carried with me forever. No one knows. I mean...did he find out at the hospital, too? Or was it something you and our parents were able to keep quiet?"
