9:30pm - Freddy & Bettina
"Kids are wonderful," She said, brightly. Bettina adored children. She found them to be much more honest and agreeable than a lot of adults she knew. Of course, her love of kids could also be due to the fact that Bettina was, in her heart, a giant kid herself.
"They wouldn't be very good at their jobs if they didn't. After all, if your best friend and siblings arent annoying you to high heaven, something must be wrong." Sipping her drink, Bettina smiled softly. "I mean, my best friend probably would've marched herself to my house and dragged me over here if I had decided not to come tonight. I'm surprised she hasn't cornered me and pointed out all the single guys she knows are here. She's constantly trying to find someone worthy of my awesome, as she puts it." She loved Nora to pieces, but the girl was intense sometimes.
Bettina suddenly became very interested in the bubbles in her glass, in a poor attempt to hide the blush that was spreading across her cheeks. "It is. You're definitely the most interesting person I've talked to, and I haven't attempted to find a lame excuse to ditch this conversation yet, so," she gave a little shrug, looking back up at him. "Definitely the highlight of my night so far."
