Re: 8:30pm - Andi & Ford
"Shorter hair, got it," Andi gave him a small thumbs up. "But why different accents?" That confused her. They were brothers. Twins. Shouldn't they have the same accent?
She took a sip of her drink and glanced around the room, taking in the many different costumes before answering him. "Parents," she nodded when her brown eyes were back on him. "Not exactly the overprotective sort, more like overbearing and..." she shrugged her shoulders. "Maybe I'll tell you all about it one day," she smiled. It was a bit too much to get into during a first meeting and at a party. "They do mean well, of course, somewhat, just...my life is mine."
"Right," she said when he corrected her word. That was it, which she knew of course. "I'm sure it is different. You have to look at people instead of at a microphone," she teased him. "Though I would think the scenery is much better," she said, gesturing to all the beautiful people in the room. When he told her the name of his podcast, she thought for a second and shook her head. "I haven't listened to it yet," she told him, but now she would. It was the description that caught her attention and she fully looked at him, really seeing him and trying to determine if she should ask the next question or not. And, of course, she would ask.
"Are you..." she paused, looking for the right way to ask. "Do you talk from personal experience? Or someone you know?" Was he a vampire and she just hadn't clued in to that yet? And really, was it something she would clue into unless she was told?
