He grinned slightly at her empty threat and pulled back to look at her. "What if I promise to not have anymore whoops I'm dead moments?" Which he knew of course was impossible to promise, but he kind of felt like living in impossibility for the moment. He ran a hand across her cheek and leaned in to kiss her.
