WHO: Harry Potter and Lily Evans WHAT: Tea. Seriously backdated tea. Harry gets to meet his mother and Lily gets to meet the baby she hasn't had yet. WHEN: Uh. Okay, Jen is fail. I meant to put this up AGES ago, when Harry first showed up, and then I was distracted by birthday/holiday things and then I forgot and blah blah blah. Anyway. It's here now if Lily still wants it. WHERE: In a cafe, I'd imagine. With ... tea. RATING: Probably G. Come on, this is his mother, here. STATUS: Incomplete; closed

Harry Potter wasn't sure what to feel.
Everyone was so young here. For the most part, nobody had a clue about the War, about Voldemort and how he'd been defeated. Sirius and Lupin were just ... children, in a way, decidedly more innocent and clearly happy with each other. And his mother. Well, she didn't even know him.
Well, and then there was that thing with Ginny and the kids. That was freaky. Harry liked to ignore that. It was in the future for him, after all, and he'd much rather mingle with the people from his past. At least there, nobody was mad at him or knew things about him that he didn't.
He was early, waiting for Lily Evans in the cafe she'd picked out. To say he was nervous was to be kind about it. This was his mother, years before she'd had him and loved him and, hell, died for him. What if she hated him? What if she met him and decided she just didn't want a baby ever at all and negate his entire existence? Unlikely as that was, the thought was terrifying.
