Merlin was out. With a solmen promise to end all solemn promise to avoid all stairs. Even the strange ones that moved on their own. Dagonet and Leo were dreaming bunny-like dreams. Content in the cages they had gotten them. The television had nothing on and she didn't know quite what to look for on the internet to distract her. She, for once strangel enough, didn't want to read. Morgana felt oddly restless and there was nothing distract her. Typically she rarely ever got to this point because she was poking Arthur with swords or watching with delighted glee as Merlin entertained her with magic. Sometimes, at night before Arthur sent her off to bed, she would drink warm cocoa layered with a thick form of cream, thoroughly warmer and snuggled between the two. Or Merlin and some lump that called himself Arthur because apparently Arthur Pendragon didn't "snuggle". Yeah, right. And Lady Elaine's daughter wasn't a complete and other imbecile. Or twit. As her Father told her to say. Since insulting people with words they couldn't spell wasn't fair. If she had to do it at all. Which Morgana, even at age nine, felt that she had to.
Morgana had been avoiding the area outside of the rooms because Arthur was there. No other particular reason other than that. She wasn't upset with him or anything. It was simply that Arthur was sleeping. And Arthur had the tendency to snore when he slept. Really. That was all that needed to be said on the matter.
He'd been avoiding all forms of her shaking to wake him up and it was the most annoying sound. She had no idea how Merlin had dealt with it. Morgana felt that Arthur had lucked out a thousand times over in finding Merlin. She told him this. Once in a while. The fact that she thought Merlin was just as lucky was never said. It would do to say anything about it. Arthur's head was big enough as it was.
Which had a tiny bit with why Morgana was walking determinedly towards his sleeping self on the couch. Because really. In the end. It would be funny. To be honest, it'd be honest throughout. And she was bored. And she had tried to get him to wake up.
It took a bit of doing but a few minutes later, Morgana was blowing on Arthur's nails. Taking out the camera that he'd bought for her, she snapped a few pictures. So that Merlin wouldn't miss out and that the older her would cherish forever. Because she knew he was.
Morgana's eyes widened slightly when he finally began to stir. Of course he decided to wake up just when she was taking pictures of his painted nails. Quickly she rushed back to her room to put her camera in it's place and just as quickly she came out with her doll. She smiled at him, before sitting down on the ground as if nothing unusual or strange had just happened.
