Soon enough it seemed like she was all alone in her wandering. Not that it was something to mind. Dez was more than used to spending time alone with her thoughts as her only companion. There was never sense of danger in this solitary state, but more a sense of peace. Crowds of people tended to upset the moment.
She was sure that this night would be completely and totally normal...but that was before she heard footsteps and the familiar overly sweet scent permeated the air. Vampire. Her walking slowed and she was much more alert than she had been moments ago. At least if it was one vampire then she would stand more of a chance. With two or more, it would have been impossible.
Dez really couldn't help but scowl some as she saw the vampire now in her line of sight. That stare, those red eyes. And that voice. She knew this one. It was the male vampire who had almost killed her in Africa. But what was he doing here? "Hm...so it seems that a little piece of Hell has decided to follow me. How very wonderful." Her eyes looked over the gun in his hands, recognizing its design. It was a tranquilizer gun.
