Patrick laughed, genuinely amused that Marcus had come to that conclusion. "I am, but not for this. You'd pick just about anyone over my mother. There's no question that you'd pick me over her, although watching you two bicker can be amusing."
He sighed, knowing that there was excuse for his stupidity, other than age. "Fine, but I can mention just how well I learnt my lesson." Of course, he had Marcus to thank for that. He hadn't know the man could be so patient until that night.
Resting his forehead against Marcus', he smiled. "Good, and if that changes, keep lying to me. I'm okay with that." He nipped Marcus' lip. "Are we going to discuss my family or can we go to your place?"
