Ace was quiet for a moment, her fingers curling and uncurling lightly against his chest before she nodded against his shoulder.
"I know. It feels like something's shifted. Just enough to set everything off-kilter. Not enough to be blatant, but enough to make me ..." she frowned. "Well, uncomfortable. And if they're not comfortable with us, or with Isaac's decisions ... something got lost somewhere."
She simply ... didn't know what to do about it just then. But maybe if they talked it out, they'd come up with something. Maybe they could pinpoint where the issue was, or ... at least find something they could solve.
Or maybe they'd sleep on it and find an answer in the morning when mental connections had had a chance to form.
