RP: Nominate This Who: Moonwatchers Where: Isaac's house When: 8 PM - 8:45ish, if that, August 28, 2024 Warnings/Rating: R if people get sweary/discussion gets heated Summary: The nomination meeting kind of fails. Status: Complete
He'd arrived home to find their house had gained an extra body. Isaac was starting to believe the house simply bred people. Granted, he knew this person fairly well, and it was nice to see him home, and he really had no complaints about it - given that they did need the extra bodies.
Especially hunters. Merlin, did they ever need Hunters.
So he'd had little protest to Vulture crashing with them for a bit, though by the time he'd been home for a couple of hours, he was starting to wonder if he would have to separate him from Mitch before the two killed each other. In jest, of course.
Soon enough, it was time for the meeting. Once everyone who had not said they'd be otherwise engaged had shown up, Isaac began.
"For those not already aware, Mitch has rather been ousted from Sterling's pack, and the pack has vacated Cardiff. At this point, we do not know where they are. I am aware that Aurors are patrolling various areas, but ..." He lifted his shoulders in a shrug. "I imagine we won't catch anything until the full.
"That said, this full I suggest we spread out our efforts a bit and scout around the places there were known or highly suspected werewolves on the last moon. West Dorset, Cornwall, I'd like a couple to be in Cardiff in case he comes back. And yes," he said as he looked over to Ace. "I am staying home this time."
Ace raised her hands in an 'I said nothing' gesture, but she smirked all the same.
"That, however, we can touch on the specifics once we've gotten the actual point of this particular meeting out of the way."
Exhaling, he gestured. "So, I open the floor to the first nomination. If anyone has anyone to nominate, please proceed with your arguments both for and against this person to have an invitation extended to him or her."
Even speaking the words made him tense. The very idea of opening themselves up like that ... it was scary. But they needed people. They needed more connections. Better connections. More bodies. More people who could hunt, who could track, who were in positions to get things done.
