"Well, aren't you just the responsible one," he teased, toasting James with his drink. "It's been fun so far. We work well together, Dom and I. Compliment each other well." It had been different working with someone behind the bar, but he thought he and Dom were getting along quite well.
And wasn't that just convenient. He knew he didn't know James well, or Dylan or the brother, but they were friends of Min's, and he knew of them. And Ben had always thought that things happened for a reason, and clearly the Universe was trying to tell him that there was a reason beyond getting drunk or being at this party tonight.
"Ever thought of a house?" he asked, not at all subtle about dropping it into conversation. "Renting, I mean. A doer-upper with a few mates, just outside London. Lots of privacy." He threw in that last bit since James seemed so concerned about the press.
