It was on the top of Molly's tongue to say 'sure, that's a good idea' when Lily offered to put the dog outside, but then Molly thought what if it had been her cat?
"Oh no he's fine. Aren't you sweetie?" She patted the dog's head and it licked her hand playfully, making her jump. Molly wiped the back of her hand on her trousers. "Well, no pastries for doggies. Sorry."
Molly smiled at her cousin. "Oh, you know - busy. The same." She flushed and nodded.
"James told me. I'm sorry, sweetie. How are you doing?"
