"It's not-" He knew he shouldn't have said anything, because now he would have to try to explain without having the first hand knowledge. "I'm not one so I could be wrong, but it's not some sort of divination gift. Your senses are a bit sharper so your brain processes things differently. Adrenaline, fear, excitement, you can recognise them."
Patrick nodded. "I have a few times," he admitted. Of course he wasn't researching a potion, but it was easier to explain that way. He moved closer and put an arm around the other man while he rested his chin on Dale's shoulder. "I'm not going to tell you everything will be fine, but I'll give you a few potions to help make it better afterwards. There's nothing that can help with the actual transformation." He kissed Dale's shoulder. "I'll help if you want me to."
