Julius was torn. On the one hand it would be so simple, a few choice words and he was certain he could get Louis to apologise for him not making contact, on the other he wasn't sure he wanted to give Louis the idea that he could contact him. This was convenient, on his terms and he had to think carefully before he proceeded.
"I thought about you too," he said, not asking more about Louis' Christmas, as he really didn't care about it.
"I wasn't sure you wanted me to contact you. Not after I made you take an oath." It was rubbish of course, he had had other things to do, but putting Louis on edge served his purpose.
