The holidays were always a good chance to catch up on paperwork, and though there were still patrols to run and they were still putting the pieces back together after the mess Riddle had caused, Caradoc was glad for the respite. He stayed later these nights to finish up work that had been pushed aside when they were dealing with the worst of the mess, and now he was playing catch up.
He didn't mind it terribly though, he liked being organized and knowing that things had been done right. It was good for there to be a record of their actions, it held them accountable. And if this war, the third some had lived through, taught them nothing else it was that people needed to remain accountable for their actions. A record was the best defense and in some cases the best evidence against a person as well.
Looking up from the notes he was making when he heard a familiar voice, Caradoc arched an eyebrow at Dorcas, "Same as yours I imagine." He told her. "We still do the same job, remember." He smirked slightly, leaning back in his chair. "You off now?"
