Re: Bill/Hermione
Hermione patted Bill's back. "It doesn't have to be. You can always come and stay at our place. It's big enough for peace, but you can still have some people around, although really with Louis, Victoire and Teddy all back at home, I'm not sure you need more noise," she said, laughing. "You might want to come for the silence."
She chuckled. "I didn't need my parents' approval to get married, but at least Ron thought about it. I didn't expect their marriage to be contingent on our permission, but I would have liked the fact that he'd thought about it. She told us, while he just stood there." She nodded. "Pretty much, although I don't know if they have talked or not. I think she knows that I'm less than impressed with the way he's behaving, although I haven't said anything. Any time I open my mouth, she takes it as an attack, so I don't say anything now."
She wasn't sure that it was so simple. "A marriage is forever until someone breaks the spell, or at least that's what Ron believes. We're yet to have this discussion, but I know it's coming."
She laughed mirthlessly. "Really, Bill, don't you think I wanted to do it? Percy would be out of a job in the blink of an eye if we tried to pass that. If you do that, it's not just the fathers, but the children as well. They can claim their father's names, their inheritance. How many bastards would suddenly threaten the position of the legal heir? They will fight that tooth and nail."
