"I know you do." Sirius grinned against James' skin. It never really mattered what position they found themselves in Sirius always enjoyed it - what he liked was being with James - the how didn't matter so much so long as they were together.
"You seem to do that to me." Sirius agreed smiling, without James Sirius doubted very much marriage was ever something he would have done, and even when they first married he'd been certain they weren't going to have children. His ideas and expectations for his life were constantly being changed thanks to his relationship with James and he couldn't seem to find it in him to mind in the slightest. "Gods, I love you." Sirius knew how much of James he kept hidden from the rest of the world, that the brilliant smiles and charming interviews he gave to the press were nothing like the man he'd married - and he could understand why people fell in love with that version of James, but this, the James only he got to see was better than any of that.
Brushing his fingers through James' hair, Sirius shook his head. "You've had to be like this, people needed you to be the one to pick up the slack, but things are changing again and you don't always have to be that - especially here." He reminded James.
