"I'm glad we're so good at showing how crazy we are as our family that you could decide all of that in just one conversation." Charlie grinned - not that he found the idea all that surprising. Merlin only knew what sort of things his family went around saying. "I was working on it." Charlie said shaking his head, but considering how things had worked out he couldn't be all that put out about that kind of teasing.
Charlie rolled his eyes when Callum asked him about his grand gesture - he hadn't gotten around to it after the way the conversation he'd had with Callum earlier in the day had gone, and then when he'd tried a second time Callum beat him to the punch doing the proposing for him. "A proposal of some sort." He told him. "Not that it exactly worked out in the way I'd thought it might."
"Are we going to be that nitpicky to get down to the days of how long the engagement will be?" Charlie asked, laughing, but he supposed it wouldn't be bad to have a date and they could work toward that. "Hmm... I think that works, no birthdays that I can recall." Though he'd double check to be certain.
