"Though I did get a fair few scars those first couple of years." Charlie laughed. Callum was right though, his birthday could not come soon enough, Charlie missed this, just the being close with Callum at the end of the day, when they talked out plans for the following day and then were just together.
"I think that might have had something do to with Fleur." Charlie didn't know for certain, things had been hectic then and there could have been other circumstances that lead to a longer engagement, but he didn't know for certain. "And mum wasn't exactly the biggest supporter of their marriage, so that could have drawn things out a bit as well."
Charlie shrugged. "I don't think it would hurt anything to talk about some of it now - unless you're in a hurry to get back to your tent." Charlie wasn't above a long conversation just to give him more time with Callum before they needed to go their separate ways for the night. "I think it'd help to talk some of it over with you, I don't know all of your opinions on all of this either - and we'll need to start planning at some point." Might as well be tonight.
