Re: Dylan and Lenora
Dylan snorted, though he still laughed. "Wouldn't my father have been proud to hear you say that," he joked. "Sorry to disappoint you, but I'll keep hoping that Dom and United kick your arses on Saturday and settle for rooting for you when you're not up against United." He grinned. "It's a compromise, it works for me."
He laughed at her comment, and grinned cheekily when he replied. "Hope doesn't need to get me far in the league. I'm not the one in it."
Few knew the Jamie that left Hogwarts better than him, and even now with them having their own lives further from each other, he knew him better than most of the population. That, however, was always something he'd never shared, nor would never share with anyone, so when she started, he just shrugged and laughed. "Regardless of that, my wanting to be an Auror had everything to do with the job, possibly with my father, but nothing to do with Jamie."
"Wow, that really is the same, isn't it?" he said, knowing more than a pureblood what it was she was talking about. "I'm surprised you had any thoughts that young, let alone knew roughly what you wanted to do." At an age before Hogwarts his dreams for the future had gone as far as not having to deal with yet another man in his mum's life.
