Dylan wanted to bang his head. Why couldn't he just fake things? If he answered there would be a discussion and what if she were to say that she wanted to marry? Everything would be ruined. There was nothing to it but to lie - or at least omit some of the truth.
"Of course I am," he said, running his fingers through her hair. Looking into her eyes, he could calm down again, because this was what was important, right? Them, here, together. "How could I be anything but all right with you on top of me?"
He leaned up, kissing her, making sure she could feel how much he cared for her in the kiss. It was so much easier than words anyway. He smirked when he pulled back, grinning. "What can I say, your family is scary," he teased.
