Re: Jamie/Lily
"It's more the rough waters," she said with a laugh, as one of Jamie's twin uncles pushed a tall black man into the water and followed after him. "If it calms down, I'll take a swim." Since it didn't look like things would be calming down any time soon, she might be out of luck tonight.
Laughing, she nodded her agreement. "Hopefully that will calm down soon. With your father as soon as I hit the second trimester the nausea and odd eating habits calmed down," she said with an almost sad smile. "It will be nice to eat steak again. But of course, soon after the kicking started. I always knew he'd be a Quidditch player, but from the way he turned my kidneys into Bludgers I assumed Beater, not Seeker."
She regretted bringing Harry up almost as soon as she was done speaking, because she didn't want to make Jamie sad, or remind him of what a bad mother she'd been after her return. So she was glad that there was the somewhat neutral subject of her and James' house to talk about.
"Yes, we love it there. It's quiet, but there's a charming little town within walking distance, even in the winter. I found the sweetest cradle there and have already bought it."
