Charlie grinned and nodded, he knew Callum didn't actually think he was incompetent - he doubted they'd be able to work together as well as they did if Callum didn't think he could do the job. "You're right, I really do hate it there." And the only reason he'd ever taken the job was after Hermione's coercion, and that was only to keep him and Callum out of Azkaban for their part in stealing the dragons, and then of course to set up the reserve, but he'd done all of that now and he was left with the politics of the job now, and it wasn't something he enjoyed in the slightest. "I did tell Percy not to expect me to stay for long, I've done what I needed to, and I think in the long run he'll want something in the position who actually gives a damn about more than just dragons."
Charlie snorted when Bill commented on the twins. "Of course you do, you'd never try and out prank them any time." He teased, he was glad this had turned out well. That though Bill had so obviously wanted to laugh at them both he'd managed to keep it in and give his blessing. It wasn't everything they needed, but it was a start and Charlie was glad they'd taken this first step.
"Need I remind you that I've spent more years in Romania in my lifetime than in England?" He said with a smirk. "And I won't even bother reminding you of the differences between Egypt and Romania." He said leveling his gaze on his brother, the conversation continuing easily as they continued teasing back and forth for a while longer before he and Callum took their leave for the night.
