Thankfully, mercifully, amazingly his brother seemed to understand that this was important not just to Callum but to Charlie as well and he managed to look like he wasn't planning on laughing in their faces for the first time since the subject had been broached, and Charlie was grateful Bill could do this for him.
And while Charlie seriously doubted that anyone in the family was going to take issue with his relationship with Callum Charlie was very glad to have taken this first step in things. They would still need to talk to Callum's family too, and make sure everything would work out there as well of course. "I think he'll be all right, given a little time." It was a bit change for Callum of course, but Baron as well - it was obvious how traditional the young man was, thanks to the way Callum had raised him, but Charlie had to think they wouldn't get too much trouble from him. Baron seemed like he had a good head on his shoulders, and Charlie had to think that Baron wanted his father to be happy.
He snorted when Bill started to talk about Quidditch. "You're not that old yet, I think you'll be more than fine against the kids." Despite the Weasley enthusiasm for Quidditch, they only had two professional players in the family. "I'm sure they'll love a little extra competition, instead of just having to deal with this old man all the time." Charlie said nodding in Bill's direction and smirking.
