When Charlie got comfortable, Callum turned to his side and put an arm around Charlie's waist. "You've been spared for ever proposing in your life, because this is it. I told you; the Moody family takes marriage very seriously."
He sighed. "And speaking of my family, Alastor was at the club when I was talking to Louis." Maybe talking wasn't exactly the best description, but they were talking amongst other things. "We disagree on my pick of entertainment and we argued. There might have been some punching involved, on his part, before your nephew put some sort of magical barrier. Jamie, not Louis, and God, you have too many relatives, but that wasn't the point. After that he was here, he thought I was going to kill myself. The idiot. Still, I need to talk to Alastor before this party. Are you going to be all right with Louis and Jamie? Do you want to talk to them separately? Or we can do it together."
He reached under Charlie's shirt, fingers resting over Charlie's chest. "What kind of distractions were you thinking of?" he asked with a grin. "You might have to explain it to me. I haven't been paying attention lately."
