Callum didn't care about Charlie's family at the moment. They could discuss brothers later. Instead his hands fisted the front of Charlie's shirt as he knelt down. "I love you, but I mean it. I'm not doing well. I know myself well enough to understand that, and you can't be the only thing making things better. You'll have to be patient, okay?"
He kissed Charlie again, staying as close as he could. "You'd better mean this, Charlie. None of this divorce crap, or separation or anything. If we're getting married, we're doing this until we die. We deal with relatives and friends. We do it right, because I'm old fashioned and this things mean something to me. The rest of the world can think that I've lost my mind, but I would want my parents to be proud if they were alive."
